Children in the toddler classroom gain independence through care of self exercises such as dressing, baking, and toilet-training. Continuous language lessons provide children with the proper terms for items within their environments.

Age: 18 – 36 Months

Dr. Maria Montessori understood that a child’s education begins at birth and the first few years of life, being the most formative, are important both physically and mentally.

The classroom is referred to as the prepared environment, meaning that each activity has a purpose to aid the child in the development of their self confidence.

Routine Daily Schedule

Half-day, Full-day and All-day programming options are five days per week:

  • 7:30am-8:30am – Before Care (for All-day students)
  • 8:20am-8:35am – Morning drop-off via carline

  • 11:45am-12:00pm – Half-day students dismissed via carline

  • 3:00pm-3:15pm – Full-day students dismissed via carline

  • 3:00pm-5:30pm – After Care (for All-day students)

The education of even a small child, therefore, does not aim at preparing him for school, but for life.

- Maria Montessori

The goal of early childhood education should be to activate the child’s own natural desire to learn. View our philosophy first hand.
