Middle School Program
The Community Montessori Middle School program serves as a bridge to the conventional high school and although it shares a similar philosophy with earlier programs, it is a unique environment.
The curriculum provides a vision of the universe and everyone’s place in it through the interdisciplinary studies of science, humanities, mathematics, creative writing, geometry, agriculture, art and drama.
Grades: 7th – 8th
Our Middle School program encourages valorization of the adolescent. Ample opportunities will be provided to each adolescent through hands-on approach teaching, group lessons, and pedagogy of place.
While the Middle School classroom will show a more rigid approach to learning, it is only to prepare the students for what is to come in high school.
