Welcome

We are excited about your interest in Community Montessori School and very much look forward to speaking with you about all a Montessori education at CMS will offer your child!

We stand ready to answer your questions via phone or email, but would especially welcome the opportunity to set a tour time for you so that you might be able to see our classrooms “in action” while learning about our programs in detail. We hope to be meeting you and your child soon!

ENROLLMENT PROCESS

Thank you for your interest in our school. After touring our facility and learning about our Montessori programs, the following steps occur as part of our Enrollment Process.

SCHEDULE A TOUR

1. COMPLETE ENROLLMENT FORMS

Complete the Application for Enrollment and submit it to the school along with the $70 application fee. We also asks parents to complete the Parent Evaluation Form to help our teachers begin to know the student. The Application, Parent Evaluation Form and application fee may be submitted in person or mailed to the school.

2. STUDENT ENCOUNTER

Once the school has received the Application and Parent Evaluation for your student, we will contact you to schedule a date/time for a Student Encounter. The Encounter for Toddler and Primary students will last about 20 – 30 minutes and is a great opportunity for parents to not only meet the Directress but also ask questions.

If possible, and if the child is comfortable, the Directress will invite the child into the classroom to have a quick tour and perhaps even present some introductory lessons. If the child is hesitant and prefers their parents accompany them, this can certainly be arranged.
